Porsche

The performance of a sports car.

Because it was a small company at the time, Porsche took the development of the successor to its main (and only) car line very seriously, knowing that a failure could end the company. Thus, between 1959 and 1961 several models were produced. The 1961 model 695 T-7 proved to be the most promising of them - the product of the efforts of Ferdinand Alexander "Butzi" Porsche and Erwin Komenda (this one was no longer as involved as it was at the time of the 356). In fact, it is said that the choice of the Reutter body factory was mainly to avoid conflicts between Butzi and Komenda.
